The LOST BOOK OF ENKI: Memoirs and Prophecies of an Extraterrestrial God

Story So Far:

The Gutians subdued Inanna's rebellion of 2255 B.C. and Gutian calvary supported Ninurta's rebuilding of Mesopotamia.  The Gutians returned to the Zagros Mountains 2160B.C.. and Ninurta's brother Nannar ruled Sumer for ninety-one years.  This was the Era of Ninurta, an era of agricultural develpment.  During this time Nannar, no longer eclipsed by daughter Inanna, ruled Sumer.      Nannar appointed Ur-Nammu, son of the the "goddess" Ninsun, as Supreme King. [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 262-264],

Narrative (Essay 39) Resumes

"The Era of Ninurta in Sumer, lasting through the Gutian Invasions and the ensuing period of reconstruction, was only an interlude. A mountain-dweller at Heart, Ninurta soon began to roam the northeast and farther. Constantly perfecting the martial arts of his highland tribesmen" he introduced horses to them and organized them into a cavalry "extending their reach by thousands of miles.

"He’d returned to Mesopotamia at Enlil’s call" to crush Naram Sin and subdue Inanna. With peace and prosperity restored, Ninurta absented himself from Sumer. His absences from Sumer and Inanna’s abortive attempt to recapture the kingship" for her city of Uruk prompted Enlil to order Nannar/Sin, his firstborn son on Earth, to rule Sumer from Ur" [Sitchin, Z., 2010, There Were Giants Upon The Earth, pages 269-70]. Enlil also needed his son Nannar to counter Marduk’s ever-growing territory and followers. "The growing problem for the Enlilites was that Ninurta, the presumptive heir to Enlil and Anu, had come from Nibiru–whereas Marduk [who married Hybrid Earthling Sarpanpit] and [their son] Nabu] had Earthling affinities.

"Enlilites dropped the ‘Ninurta Strategy’ and switched to a ‘Sin Tactic,’ transferring the seat of national Kingship to Ur–Sumer’s thriving commercial and manufacturing [as well as cult center] of Nannar, an Earthborn son of Enlil, who unlike Ninurta, also had an Akkadian name: Sin.

"Unlike other Enlilites, Nannar/Sin was not a combatant in the wars of the gods. His selection was meant to signal to people everywhere, even in the ‘rebel’ [Enkiite lands controlled by Marduk] lands that under Nannar’s leadership an era of peace and prosperity will begin." [Sitchin, Z., 2010, There Were Giants Upon The Earth, pages 269-70, 278].

Nannar, now the "god" of Ur, won adoration and devotional prayer from his Hybrids.

Nannar prospered his people; he bred sheep that made Ur "the wool and garment center of the ancient Near East." He "developed foreign trade by land and water." His demigod administrators and their thousands of subject Hybrids built a navigable (and protective) canal to Ur's two harbors.  [See below]

Uruk1                 Uruk2 UrukZiggurat

The canal separated the temple with a public plaza for festivals, a palace and offices on one bank from shops, schools, warehouses, a marketplace, workshops, homes on the other bank. On their bank, merchants, craftsmen and laborers occupied multistoried white houses along broad, straight streets.

Enlil sent his Omen-Priest, Terah, from Nippur to Ur to serve Nannar [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 271 -272, 2019, There Were Giants Upon The Earth, page 280].

In 2113 B.C.E., Enlil choose Ur-Nammu, Ninsun's son, Supreme King of Sumer/Akadda.  Back on Nibiru, Anu approved Ur-Nammu. "The choice was a signal that the glorious days under the unchallenged authority of Enlil and his clan are back." [Sitchin, Z., 2007, The End of Days, page 52].The King would serve under Enlil's son Nannar who'd dictate laws of obedience, justice and morality. [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 262-264; 2007, The End of Days, page 60 -61].

The Enlilites ordered Ur-Nammu to destroy Marduk's Amorites west of Sumer. Ur Nammu and his forces attacked cities where Nabu had allies for Marduk's drive to rule Earth. Enlil gave Ur-Nammu a "divine weapon that heaps up the rebels in piles" to zap the cities Nabu'd suborned. Enlilites called Nabu "the oppressor" and the areas he influenced "evil, sinning and rebellious." The Enlilite gods of Sumer gave Ur-Nammu blessing, honor, weapons and protection.

In 2113 B.C.E., Enlil choose UR-NAMMU--Ninsun's son--Supreme King of Sumer/Akadda. Anu approved Ur-Nammu.

The Enlilites ordered King Ur-Nammu to destroy Amorites allied with the Enkiites Marduk and his half breed son Nabu. Enlil gave the king a "divine weapon that heaps up the rebels in piles." The Enlilite gods of Sumer all gave Ur-Nammu blessing, honor, weapons and protection. Off he marched his army to attack the Amorites west of Sumer.

But in 2096 B.C.E., "in the midst of battle, his chariot got stuck in the mud. He fell off it, the chariot rushed along, leaving the King behind. The boat returning his body to Sumer sank with him on board." In Sumer, "People could not understand how such a religiously devout king who only followed gods' directives with weapons they put in his hands could perish so ignominiously." Support of Utu, Nannar, Inanna, Enlil and even Anu couldn't protect Ur-Nammu.

Nabu fanned Sumerian doubts about their gods, The Enlilite gods deserted you. They hid from you that Nibiru’s almost here. Soon shines the homeplanet of the gods upon us on Earth in The Ram--Marduk's constellation. Welcome the Era of Marduk the Redeemer, who shall conquer Sumer & Akkad, rule Elamites, Hittites, Enlil's Sealand allies and the whole world. [Sitchin, Z., 2007, The End of Days, page 63 - 66]

Ninharsag and Enki agreed. They preferred Nabu--half Nibiran, half Adapite Hybrid--rather than Utu--genetically pure Nibiran but Earth-born--command Sinai. From the Sinai to the cities and islands of the Eastern Mediterranean Nabu spread news: Nibir’s coming, Marduk will rule.

Back in Sumer, in 2095 B.C., SHULGI succeeded Ur Nammu. Inanna invited Shulgi to Uruk. She declared him "the man for the vulva of Inanna." They wed in the temple where Anu had elevated her in tantric ritual.  She again bonded with an alpha Adapite [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 276 -279],

Shulgi and his Elamite allies launched military expeditions in the West and built The Great West Wall from the Euphrates to the Tigris (north of modern Baghdad) to keep out Nabu's forces. In 2968 B.C. "Shulgi gave his daughter in marriage to an Elamite chieftain and granted him the city of Larsa as a dowry, in return, the Elamites put a foreign legion of Elamite troops at Shulgi’s disposal. These troops were employed by Shulgi to subdue the western provinces, including Canaan." [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, page 286]

In 2048  B.C., Enlil had Shulgi killed for sexploitations and failures to drive Nabu from Sinai/Tilmum Spaceport. Enlil replaced Shulgi with Shulgi's son, AMAR-SIN.

The Enlilites sent Amar-Sin to crush a rebellion in the north and fight an alliance of five kings along the Mediterranean in the west. [Sitchin, 2007, The End of Days, pages 68-72]

A vision led Enlil to choose as general of his cavalry ABRAHAM.

Abraham, born 2123 B.C., descended from Enki’s son Ziasudra's son Shem whom Enlil, back in 8650, had ordered to rule Canaan north of the Sinai Spaceport. But descendants of Shem’s brother Ham, though Enlil ordered restricted as Enkiite subjects to Africa, nonetheless occupied Enlilite Canaan.  Enkiites Marduk and his son Nabu/Ensag recruited allies among these Ham-ites for Marduk’s push to wrest the Sinai Spaceport from Enlil's son's son, Utu, the Enlilite boss of the astronauts and scientists running the spaceport.

Galzu came to Enlil in a vision. He told Enlil to send Abrahan, son of Ur’s High Priest Terah (a descendant of Shem), with calvary to re-assert Enlilite rule of Canaan and protect Sinai from Marduk’s son Nabu. Enlil kept his vision secret, but chose Abraham to rule "all the lands from the border of Egypt to the border of Mesopotamia."   [Sitchin, 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 289 - 297]

In 2095 B.C., to give Abraham a base, Enlil ordered him and Terah to HARRAN [Turkey] at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains near the Syrian Border, where the Euphrates flowed from to Ur. Abraham’s base, Harran, dominated trade with Hatti, land of the Hittites, on whose trade Sumer depended. Harran straddled the trade and military land routes to the Spaceport as well."

Harran & Environs

Harran & Environs [Sitchin, Z., 2007, The End Days, page 82]

Enlil gave Abraham land and riches until he was the richest man of his time. In 2048 B.C., Enlil then ordered him to Canaan and to save Sinai [Sitchin, 2007, The End of Days, page 73]. The Commander bought Abraham the best chariots, finest horses, 380 well-trained soldiers and weapons that "could smite an army of ten thousand men in hours. Enlil sent Abraham, then 75 years old, and his nephew Lot to the Negev drylands bordering the Sinai.

In 2047 B.C. Enlil dispatched Abraham and Lot to Egypt for more men and camels. In 2041, with this force, Abraham blocked Enlil’s eldest son Ninurta’s Elamites from the Spaceport, then he rescued Lot, whom the Elamites, as they retreated west of the Jordan River, had taken hostage from the Nabu-friendly city of Sodom.

Then Abraham moved to block Nabu and his slave armies advancing on the Sinai.

Marduk occupied Harran when Abraham left Harran for Sinai.  For the next twenty-four years, Marduk made Harran headquarters and planned his take-over of Earth.  When he occupied Harran, Marduk took it from Enlil’s son Nannar.  Marduk’s control of Harran cut Sumer from the trade it needed from the Hittites to the North. Control of Harran also let Nabu marshal the cities west of the Euphrates. Despite Abraham and his army, Marduk and Nabu threatened the Spaceport [Tilmum]" [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki, pages 302 - 306; 2007, The End of Days, page 78].

Enlil bade Ninurta to keep his Elamite legions and go supervise an alternate spaceport in Peru. But unsupervised, the Elamites ran amok in Sumer.

Enlil summoned Ninurta, even though he’d been on duty in South America, to account for his Elamites' crimes in Sumer.  But Ninurta blamed Marduk and Nabu. Enlil ordered a council to try Nabu. In the council meeting, Utu, the Spaceport Commander, accused Nabu of aggression.  "Nabu blamed Ninurta and revived old accusations against Nergal in regard to the disappearance of the pre-Deluvial monitoring instruments and the failure to prevent sacrileges in Babylon. Nabu got in a shouting match with Nergal. Then Nabu accused Enlil of telling the Elamites to violate Marduk's temples in Babylon. ''There is no justice, destruction was conceived"  Nabu shouted. Nabu's outburst, "an unheard-of accusation against the Lord of Command."

Enki defended Marduk and said that in Celestial Time (rather than the Zodiac Time Enlilites favored), Marduk should rule Earth. But Enki's other son, Marduk's jealous brother Nergal, blamed Marduk and Nabu for the turmoil. Enki told Nergal to shut up and stop obstructing Marduk and Nabu.

Enki and Nabu "argued so much that Enki shouted to Nergal to get out of his presence. The gods' council broke up in disarray." [Sitchin, Z., 2007,The End of Days, pages 87-88].

Enlil's emissaries/angels--Ninurta and Nergal--sent Abraham "and his nephew" [Lot] to spy on Sodom and Gomorra, cities Marduk controlled. From Sodom and Gomorra, Enlil feared, Marduk "would marshal his large number of human followers and control of all establishments on Earth, including the Sinai spaceport"  [Tellinger, M. 2006, Slave Species of god, page 506]

Enki/Ea is the Nibiran who (4,000 years ago) dictated his autobiography to his scribe, Endubscar of Endu.

The Lost Book of Enki, Sitchin's translation of Enki's tale (augmented a bit by my imagination) is the source–with many of Enki's slants--of most of the account in this essays. The Lost Book of Enki itself is
historical fiction, wherein Sitchin has woven information meticulously documented in his Earth Chronicles.
