Story so far

 Alalu stole a missile-armed rocket and blasted from Nibiru to Earth. From Earth, he controlled the gold Nibiru needed to survive. He positioned his nukes to blast Nibiru on its next pass by Earth. Alalu dangled gold as a carrot and menaced missiles as a stick. To Anu on Nibiru he beamed, "On another world I am, the gold of salvation I have found. The fate of Nibiru is in my hands. To my conditions you must give heed!" [Sitchin, Z., 2002, The Lost Book of Enki op.cit. page 60]

"Return my throne," Alalu demanded. But Anu's Foremost Son, Enlil, demanded proof of gold on Earth. So Alalu documented his proof and transmitted it to the home planet. Enlil distrusted the proof. He asked Anu to convene the Nibiru Council. In the Council, Enlil and the counselors implored Anu to keep his kingship.

Narrative Resumes NIBIRU’S RULE OF SUCCESSION: Son of Father's 1/2 Sister-wife Inherits The scientist Ea (later to be known as Enki, then Ptah), Firstborn Son of Anu, addressed the Council. Ea, though Anu's Firstborn Son, was second in succession to Anu’s throne. Enlil, the Foremost Son, was king Anu's legal successor. The Nibiran succession rules shall, as we shall show you, have profound consequences for the history of the peoples of Earth.

 Enlil would be the first to succeed Anu because Enlil’s mother, Anu’s Royal Spouse, Antu, was Anu's half-sister. This made Enlil, not Ea, Anu's Foremost Son by Nibiru succession rules.

Ea, “the firsborn son of Anu by Id, one of his six concubines, could have expected to follow Anu on Nibiru’s throne. But then–as in the biblical tale of Abraham, his concubine Hagar, and his half-sister wife Sarah–Anu’s half-sister Antum bore him a son, Enlil.  By the Nibiran rules of succession, Enlil became legal heir instead of Ea.”

Ea’s marriage to King Alalu’s daughter, however, gave Ea a chance to trump Enlil. Ea’s son, rather than Enlil, might rule after Anu. [Sitchin, Z., 1985, The Wars of Gods and Men, pages 80-81]

NIBIRAN COUNCIL SENDS EA, NOT ENLIL TO EARTH Ea proposed that he, in person, verify gold on Earth. If from gold dust of Earth, a shield for Nibiru its atmosphere to save, said Ea, let Alalu Earth rule as King. For kingship on Nibiru, let him wrestle Anu.    Let me in a chariot [rocket] to Earth journey, a path through the Bracelet [Asteroids] with water, not fire [Alalu used nuclear missiles to get through the Asteroids] I shall fashion. Anu endorsed Ea’s plan and sent him with Alalu's kinsman, pilot Anzu, and fifty male astronauts to Earth.  Ea pre-empted the heroic mission to Earth.  Enlil, who'd wanted the Earth mission, seethed while Ea and Anzu rocketed through space to their meeting with Alalu on Earth.
